The Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser works wonders. It instantly cleans oily skin and clears acne. After one weeks use, my skin was clear, non-greasy, and my pores got smaller.
I strongly believe this facial cleanser is what we’ve (acne prone skin individuals) been searching for! The first time I washed my face with the cleanser, I was quite skeptical of its ability to clean my pores because it didn’t get foamy, like most facial cleansers. However, I’ve learned that all the extra foaming that occurs when using those facial cleansers actually dries out your skin.
So, I’ve found that using this product does not dry out your skin and by using the Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil after using the cleanser, my face is left smooth and balanced. However, because this product is only a cleanser, for optimal results I suggest incorporating an exfoliant in your facial routine to prevent the build up of dead skin cells.
I purchased my 8 oz. bottle of the Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser at Utla for $24 USD. Yes, that is extremely expensive for a facial cleanser! But, I knew that Philosophy is a reputable brand and now that I’ve had amazing results, I believe this product is money well spent.
If you’re interested, Amazon has a great deal on a bigger, 16 oz. bottle of the Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser for $27.44 USD.
Overall, this facial cleanser has become a staple product in my facial routine. It has a fresh, light scent, clears acne, and leaves skin non-greasy. If you have acne prone, oily skin, I highly recommend this product.
